We supply Coco Coir Peat in pressed blocks, briquettes, and bales in various degrees of coarseness.
The coconut husk is processed in the fibre industry and when the fibres are removed, what is left is known as the Coco Peat or Coco Coir Peat. This by-product is used to make fine coco substrates. Coco peat is naturally airy and easily absorbs water.
Coco Coir Peat is used as a growing medium by greenhouse cultivators, for potting mixes, commercial nurseries, especially great for Marijuana growers. It is suitable for all types of garden plants, lawns, flowers, orchids, and vegetables in pots or on the ground. Coco Coir is dried in the natural sun, are processed to produce different items by pressing them into blocks, briquettes, and bales for transportation.
Coco Coir Peat is known for its low EC and pH values. The physical properties are determined by the type of peat and the fraction used. Coarse peat fractions give the potting soil mixtures an airy structure, whereas the spongey nature of Coco Coir Peat will retain more water with a higher ratio compared to peat moss or milled peat.
Custom-made
Not all potting soil mixtures are suitable for all crops. That is why we consider our customers’ wishes and the growing requirements of the crop when composing a Coco Coir mixture. We do this in consultation with the grower and by using our expertise as a Coco Coir manufacturer. This process always involves custom solutions. Our Coco Coir is available in customized formulations, suiting to different requirements in sieving size, water absorption and air fill porosity.
